Before living in Israel, I didn't know that there were even seasons in the desert. This article shows some beautiful pictures of the Negev desert, here where I live now, in full bloom. This is after a "winter" of some rain. It makes me remember that the desert too can support life, just in cycles, and nothing can be taken for granted.. this part I like the best.
